s605 - no audio on specific channels when connected thru AVR

I've had s605 connected HDMI to Yamaha AVR for better part of a year - with recent update to 5.0.85 now a few stations show video but no audio. I have changed cables and used different HDMI ports on the AVR with no change. I confirm all HDMI ports work by connecting other devices (DVD, Firestick) into all AVR HDMI ports.
If I bypass the AVR and plug s605 directly into HDMI port on the TV audio and video work fine.
I have contacted and mentioned this to provider but no solution offered.

Any suggestions?
