Got my friends tvip 605 here before he was going to throw it in the bin.
After a thunderstorm screen was black on his tv where he had his tvip 605 connected.
No signal on tv,tried many HDMI cables no luck.
If you attach the power cord to the tvip 605 power and stat turns green direct on 1 second, but box doesn't respond when you try the on off button on the box or on the remote control.
Ethernet lights also light up on the back on the tvip box,but it doesn't respond to when you try to power it on off and it doesn't respond to tvip reset commands, tried also to put needle in some small hole beside power outlet who should be some reset hole. No response power and stat is light green but nothing happens...
Is it totally toast?
