TVIP S-Box v.605 provider lock

Hello.

I have "TVIP S-Box v.605" device which I bought from an IPTV provider when I initially subscribed. My subscription has expired, but the device is locked to the provider. Each time I restart the device it shows full screen provider's logo and then the small logo is visible at the top of the screen.

I have tried factory reset, but that doesn't remove the provider lock. And I am not able to add any other IPTV service to this box.

Is anyone able to advise how this device can be unlocked from provider, or how to fully hard-reset and reuse with another IPTV service?

Hi, thanks for your response.

I have already changed firmware to Android by following this page https://wiki.tvip.ru/en/how_to_update/ota , but the device is still locked to service provider.

I can try contacting my service provider and ask to unlock the box, but they are very difficult to communicate with. Is there really no way to do a full/hard reset myself?

This boxes are SP oriented. No way to unlock the box.

Are you saying that the box was manufactured by hardcoding it to this particular SP? But I have seen these boxes being sold on Amazon and other online shops and I don't think Amazon would sell it locked to pone specific SP. So they must be unlocked.

You should know that box vendor could know details of settings of your provider.
