IPTV Box Power Light Remains Red

My IPTV box will not turn on right now. It used to work fine, but not I can't get anything to turn it on. All lights as follows:
STAT = green
POWER = Red (pressing power button on box does nothing)
Remote power button = blinking red when I press something
Ethernet = left green, right yellow
What can I do?

Please ignore this, turns out it was the power cable. Put a new one in and it works.

I have the same issue. I did not clearly understand your way to fix it. New adapter? New cable? Or both?

I know this is quite old post, but if you have a flashing red LED at the front and both LED's at the network port flash as well it is probably the power supply that is faulty. I got this issue today on my TVIP 605 SE and after changing the 12v 1A power supply it is now working again.
