Why does my box do this on startup?

If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I have had this box for about 8 months. The last few days, when I turn on the box I see lines and I can only get a picture after moving the HDMI cable.

I tried the box on another screen AND with another HDMI cable but same results.

I updated the os a few days ago. This happened after the update but not sure if it is related.

Can you describe you issue with more details and can you try to check with linux-qt firmware.

Can you describe you issue with more details and can you try to check with linux-qt firmware.

I really did not want to go through the hassle of changing to linux. I reset the box and it downgraded to android 5.0.25 from 5.0.30 which fixed the problem. My box starts with out a problem now. The lines are gone. I think the upgrade to.30 is what messed up the box.
