I cant reset my TVIP S - box v.605.

Hello.
I have tried this without sucess.

- For devices running firmware with version 3.8.6 or greater
To initiate factory reset, press the following buttons subsequently: S.INFO, 4, 9, S.INFO. Then press OK. STB will reboot.
(Nothing happens)

-For devices running firmware with version lower then 3.8.6
To initiate factory reset, press and hold Power key on the IR remote for 5 seconds. Then press OK. STB will reboot.
(The box just turnes off)
Hope someone can help me out.

Hello,

You can try to do it through the hole at the bottom of the box, there is a small hole next to the power hole, press this button after power on and do a factory reset from the menu.

It worked, but now I have problem to reconect the remote control.
I’ve tried to press the setting button and also tried to press Info & EPG at the same time but nothing happens

Then you press Info & EPG, you should wait about 5 sec, the LED should blink

Thanks, it worked ... but the strange thing is that there are the same setup as before I mean, it doesn’t restore the settings to default?
