5.0.18 is not initializing HDMI in a correct way

I have a 605 box running 5.0.18 thru an Onkyo receiver to an Sony TV and when powering on I always get no input on the HDMI port that is coming from the receiver. The only way to get it to connect is to restart the the box with the S.INFO, 2, 0, S.INFO command. This is regardless of how I set the CEC options, so I have them now set "off".
As I did not have this problem with previous releases of the software I downgraded to 5.0.16 and the problem goes away and it works exactly as expected.

Same problem. need reboot box to get hdmi to work.

Hdmi not working with lot of television sets, in my expirience, dont know reason. I have four tv sets, working with just one, named Denver, not working with Samsung, Hisense nor VOX. All of them from seven years old, Samsung, three years old Vox, and Hisense brand new. Denver is 4 years old, not smart.

Hmm, so the 5.0.18 (11.12.2020) that now is out of Beta still has this huge problem? If so please withdraw the release or fix it as it is not ok to release an official release with this kind of problem.
