Hello and thanks for your help.

My Dreamlink T5 finally broke and I decided to move on from IKS to IPTV.Brand new world for me and I am a bit overwhelmed.

I am happy with variety of channels I have but very very very frustrated with the EPG or complete lack of.

I have no idea how and where my box is connected to, it was plug an play really with a sub that ends in 1 year.

I hear about tvimate app to use for EPG but have no idea how to do it.

I am not dumb but just overwhelmed but can get there with proper instructions. Any help you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated.

This is not forum about IP TV, this is forum about tvip production.
If you would like have an EPG you could download it for your region, epg has two formats xmltv and jtv

I spoke with my seller and he said that he will give me the android application on a usb so that I can switch from Linux to Android.

I was able to switch to android on my own but could not connect to the portal because I don't have the login and password. The seller that it is done with an app that he will put on a usb. He does not have it yet.

All of this so I can install tivimate EPG on Android.

For EPG you should ask add this feature your Service Provider

That about using the app tivimate it's just application player. If your play list don't have EPG source you couldn't see it.

You could download epg and add it to your m3u playlist
